Daniel Gómez is an Electrical Civil Engineer who graduated from the Universidad de Chile and holds an Executive MBA from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.
He joined Enel Distribución Chile in 2007 as Analyst on Tariff Regulation. He then took over as the Head of Tariff Regulation Area, and in 2013 he was promoted to Head of Regulatory Affairs, where his responsibilities included strategic decision-making and regulatory and tariff management for the distribution, transmission, and services business lines of the Enel Group in Chile. Starting December 1st, 2020, he joined Enel Chile as Head of Regulatory Affairs.
Between 2017 and 2022 he was a member of the Board of Directors of Empresa de Transmisión Chena and Enel Transmisión Chile.
Since 2019 he has been a guest professor for the Escuela Iberoaméricana de Regulación developed by Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile along with ARIAE.
