Located on a 2,000- square meter plot of land, the "Huertos Familiares" Sports Center is the expression of the relevance that the Coronel community places on sports activities. This space includes a roofed 42 x 22-meter football stadium, with synthetic grass, surrounded by stands that can accommodate 160 people as well as an athletics track.
The 200-square meter multifunctional building built by Enel now houses changing rooms, bathrooms, a kitchen, and an office. 300 square meters were allocated for children's playing area including slides, see-saws and swings, as well as three static bikes that will be installed to generate electricity. 14 tele-surveillance cameras and an alarm system were installed on the premises to make sure the use of the space is safe and free of any risks.
This sports center is one of the largest and best equipped spaces in the municipality of Coronel to practice physical activity.
