Andrés González is a journalist who graduated from the Universidad Finis Terrae in Santiago (Chile). He has a Master's degree in Strategic Communication from Madrid and a postgraduate degree in Marketing Management from Barcelona.
He has 18 years of experience in companies in the energy, media and consulting sectors, carrying out responsibilities in the areas of corporate communication, strategic planning, crisis management, position of spokesperson, media relations, advertising and marketing, event production, budget control, management of suppliers, and relations with authorities. Between 1995 and 2000, he worked as a journalist and editor for the media, such as at Radio Carrera, Radio Portales and the newspaper El Metropolitano, and after that was a copywriter for CP Comunicación Proximity Chile and Accounts Director at the consulting company Crisis ICC.
He joined the Enel Group in 2006 as Head of External Communication at Enel Distribución, and between 2012 and 2015 served as Head of the Chilean Press Office, both for Enel Distribución and for Enel Generación. Today, he is responsible for the communication of Enel Distribución, including its different lines of business: Infrastructure and Networks, Enel X and Market.
