Daniel Gómez is a Civil Electrical Engineer who graduated from the Universidad de Chile and he has an Executive MBA from the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. Between 2004 and 2007, he was a professor in the Physics Department of the Universidad de Chile, and since then, he has worked in the energy field.
He joined Enel Distribución as a Specialist Engineer in Tariff Regulation and went on to become the Head of the Tariff Regulation area. Once the company became part of Enel, he became the Regulatory Manager, and was responsible for the strategic definition and regulatory and tariff management of the distribution, transmission and services lines of business of the Enel Group in Chile. Additionally, since January 2017, he has been the director of the Transmission Company Chena, a transmission subsidiary of Enel Distribución.
