Daniel Gómez is an Electrical Civil Engineer who graduated from the Universidad de Chile and holds an Executive MBA from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.
He joined Enel Distribución Chile in 2007 as an Tariff Regulation Analyst. He then took over as the Head of Tariff Regulation Area, and in 2013 he was promoted to Head of Regulatory Affairs, where his responsibilities included strategic decision-making and regulatory and tariff management for the distribution, transmission and services lines of the Enel Group in Chile. Starting December 1, 2020, he has joined Enel Chile as its Head of Regulatory Affairs to all business lines in Chile.
In the academic sphere, he was assistant professor for the Physics Department in the Escuela de Ingeniería of Universidad de Chile, and since 2019 he has been a guest professor for the Escuela Iberoaméricana de Regulación developed by Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile along with ARIAE.
Moreover, he is member of the board in Empresa de Transmisión Chena, and was recently appointed Director for the new company Enel Transmisión Chile.
