With a capacity of 79 MW, Pampa Norte generates more than 208 GWh per year, equivalent to the consumption needs of about 100,000 Chilean households and avoids the emission of more than 100,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.
Pampa Solar Norte was built in the Antofagasta Region, some 900 km north of Santiago, and covers approximately 290 hectares.
All energy generated by the plant feeds into the electrical network in the substation built 12 km from the project, in the Central Interconnected System in the Antofagasta Region.
