  • We have implemented the safety measures recommended by the WHO and the Ministry of Health to protect our workers and collaborators who continue to work in person at our facilities and in the field.
  • Since 2015, Enel Chile and all of its subsidiaries have a “Stop Work” policy that enables all workers or collaborators to stop any worksite if it is believed that the necessary safety conditions are not being met.

 

 

  • We have digital platforms in order to access all services offered by Enel Distribución: Online Payment, Account Summary, Electro-Dependent Patient Registry, Self-Reported Meter Readings, and others. More information in Spanish HERE
  • We offer special payment plans for our most vulnerable customers, with no interest, fines or service shut-offs for unpaid bills. More information HERE
  • We are supporting SMEs with a special meter-reading program at stores, restaurants, or small businesses that were forced to close, or reduce their operations, as a results of COVID-19, in order to avoid the provisioning of charges, and performing these tasks in a way that protects the safety of our customers and workers.

 

 

  • We developed "Codo a Codo" (elbow-to-elbow) campaign, a package of initiatives which involves municipalities, hospitals and organizations, such as Cruz Roja Chilena, Hospital Clínico Universidad de Chile, Universidad Católica and Hospital de Tiltil, among others, to provide ambulances, medical supplies and food aimed to those who need our help.   • We are in permanent contact with the communities surrounding our operations, and we are collaborating with them directly and through local institutions, organizations and associations, in order to offer them health and food safety.
  • We have reinforced our local economic development projects that were already on the agenda prior to the crisis.
