Enel Distribución to offer special payment agreements with suspension of electricity shut-offs for vulnerable customers

Santiago, March 25, 2020 – In order to assist the most vulnerable customers during the Covid-19 outbreak, Enel Distribución has designed special payments plans, with no down payment or interest, and variable terms according to each person's particular situation, who will also be exempt from electricity shut-offs by the company.

This benefit is intended for all of the company's customers in 40% most vulnerable households according to the Social Registry of Households and who have past-due bills with Enel Distribución. The special plans can be requested by calling our call center at 600 696 0000 (from landlines) or 22 696 0000 (from cell phones).

Customers who do not comply with the abovementioned requirements and who are facing difficulties paying, may access an automatic payment plan on our website www.enel.cl (up to 10 UF) or request plans for a higher amount, which will be analyzed on a case-by-case basis, after providing the necessary information.
