In this sense, we seek to respond to environmental problems that are having an impact on the planet within the framework of Enel X’s business proposal, which, for example, promotes the development of electric mobility and offers specific innovative technological solutions to respond efficiently to the needs of people, homes, businesses, and cities.
Enel Distribución also seeks solutions through its actions by replacing conventional meters with Smart Meters, which make it easier for customers to read their meter, giving them important information to more efficiently manage their consumption, while allowing the company to solve incidents or carry out remote operations.
Through Enel Green Power, we lead the energy transition, generating a significant change in the country's energy matrix through increased investment in the development of power plants from renewable sources. We currently have 1.2 MW of installed capacity from a technological mix that includes solar, wind, hydroelectric, and geothermal energy.
In turn, Enel Generación constantly invests in the efficiency of its assets through the execution of significant environmental improvements in its power plants; accompanying the change of the energy matrix with its hydroelectric leadership and flexibilizing its thermoelectric assets.
