Valle de los Vientos Wind Farm

This wind farm is composed of 45 wind turbines of 2 MW each, with a total installed capacity of 90 MW. It produces more than 200 GWh per year, avoiding more than 165,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.

Valle de los Vientos benefits from an agreement to purchase and sell the electricity generated, signed for 20 years. This electricity is contributed to the Norte Grande Interconnected System - SING electrical network through the Calama substation.
