Sol de Lila Photovoltaic Plant

The Sol de Lila photovoltaic plant, located in the Antofagasta Region, has an installed capacity of 161 MW and is capable of producing 589 GWh per year, equivalent to the consumption of 167,000 Chilean homes and avoiding the emission of more than 365,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.

Approximately 1,260 people worked during the construction process of Sol de Lila, who were in charge of the execution of civil and electrical works and the installation of the 407,400 bifacial monocrystalline photovoltaic panels, a state-of-the-art technology that allows for greater efficiency in capturing solar radiation.
