Pehuenche Hydroelectric Power Plant
The Pehuenche power plant, owned by Empresa Eléctrica Pehuenche S.A., is located 60 km. east of Talca, Maule Region. It is an engineering work that transforms hydraulic energy into electric energy and started operating in 1991. It has an installed capacity of 568 MW.
