La Cabaña Wind Farm
La Cabaña wind farm is located in the Araucanía Region and has 22 wind turbines of 4.8 MW each, with an installed capacity of 106 MW and incorporates an innovative energy storage system using lithium-ion batteries (BESS of 34.3 MW).
La Cabaña will produce around 330 GWh of energy that could be used to power 123,000 Chilean homes annually, while avoiding the emission of around 265,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.
