Alliances generate value. Driven by this conviction, Enel Distribución signed an agreement with INACAP to promote research, innovation and the training of human capital in the area of electric distribution in order to strengthen the development of professional and technical workers to take on the challenges of the energy industry.
This new partnership will support the training of collaborators and contractors thanks to the work being done by INACAP as a Continuing Education provider and offering a wide range of opportunities for professional development.
“This agreement is the first of its kind signed in Chile, and we hope to sign more in order to respond to the need for better trained human resources. We really appreciate INACAP and its support for this initiative,” says Ramón Castañeda, CEO of Enel Distribución.
The project began in 2019 and will mark a milestone this year with an infrastructure renovation plan to make the training system more effective.
“We are giving a new meaning to our Continuing Education services, promoting a closer collaboration with companies to provide an offer that meets their needs according to the new demands arising around them. The work we will do together is fully aligned with our Mission and our commitment to the country’s development,” explains Alberto Varela, Vice-Rector for Continuing Education at INACAP.
This alliance is added to the agreement signed in November 2019 with the University of Santiago, Chile, which is aligned with the same vision to promote the education and talents of professional and technical workers.
