Symmetrically with the United Nations sustainable development goals, a line of work was established seeking to contribute to fairness in respect to the access and permanence of students regarding formal education. The initiative is aimed at young people linked to the Pullinque Hydroelectric Power Plant who belong to the Tralahuapi, Llongahue, Curihue, and Tralcapulli indigenous communities, which together make up the Kom Kiñepe Tain Newen corporation.
The project includes the delivery of financial support scholarships for students in secondary and higher technical or college education. The scholarship allows to cover food, clothing, lodging, university fees, transfer expenses, among others.
The resources available for this project are managed and implemented through the Kom Kiñepe Tain Newen corporation.
