Symmetrically with the United Nations sustainable development goals, a line of work was established seeking to contribute to fairness with respect to the access and permanence of students in formal education. The initiative is aimed at young people linked to the Pilmaiquén Hydroelectric Plant who belong to the indigenous community bearing the same name and which jurisdiction is the district of Puyehue.
The project considers the delivery of financial support scholarships for students of primary, secondary school, and higher technical or college education. The scholarship allows to cover food, clothing, lodging, college fees, travel expenses, among others.
The resources available for this project are managed and implemented through the Pilmaiquén indigenous community.
