Enel X and Eurocorp joined forces to develop and promote the business of the new Multifamily Buildings. This concept refers to residential buildings whose apartments are intended solely and exclusively for rent. Both companies wanted to deepen the business model of this emerging trend and carried out a joint project with several Energy Efficiency solutions that respond to the pillars of a Circular economy.
The project consists of an upgrade to the building's current gas system. It lowers the current operational cost of the domestic hot water m3 through ultra-efficient technology and an overall control system, which includes complete maintenance and support of the plant, EMS (Energy Management System), and all associated costs.
Through this project, the pillars of circular economy, circular inputs, and product as a service are deployed since the consumption of fossil resources is significantly reduced thanks to greater energy efficiency. Also, an innovative sales model is introduced whereby the remuneration of the investment and all the services above are included in the customer's monthly payments.
