We firmly believe in the development of more sustainable power. That is why we operate an extremely diverse range of plants: hydroelectric, thermoelectric, nuclear, geothermal, wind, photovoltaic, and other renewable sources. Almost half of the electricity that Enel produces does not cause carbon dioxide emissions, making the group one of the principal producers of clean power.
New corporate identity
On January 26, 2016, Enel reformulated its concepts and presented its new corporate identity, “Open Power”.
This new brand strategy symbolizes what we are: a modern and open public service company that is flexible, reactive, and has the capacity to spearhead energy transition. The attractive and colorful logo draws together the principles of “Open Power” and reflects the variety of the energy spectrum, the multifaceted nature of a group that works in more than 30 countries, and the growing diversification of its services.

We have constantly adopted new technologies to make our power more reliable, more accessible, and more sustainable. Business and share holdings
Apart from Enel, other companies in the group are listed on the stock exchanges in Italy, Spain, Russia, United States, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Peru. Thanks to the code of ethics, the sustainability report, the environmental policy, and the adoption of international best practices in transparency and corporate governance, Enel’s shareholders include the largest international investment funds, insurance companies, pension funds, and ethical funds.
