On Wednesday, June 28, 2023, the Webinar "The value of personal data and its protection" was held, reaching more than 55 supplier companies.
Within the framework of Supplier Development, Enel Chile made a firm commitment to work together with them on highly relevant issues. Since personal data is a relevant asset that must be properly processed and safeguarded, along with the Data Protection Officer Chile, they developed a Webinar with the purpose of setting the necessary culture regarding the use, treatment and protection of personal data.
Raúl Puentes, Head of Procurement Chile, commented “Now, more than ever, we handle and exchange a lot of information with our clients and suppliers, for this reason we consider that the protection of personal data is an important issue that we must share with those who, on behalf of Enel, must give appropriate treatment to the information in the services that they provide us. Through this talk we wanted to make them aware of the importance of the subject, share our strategy on Data Protection and informed them how Enel in Chile has incorporated these concepts into the General Contract Conditions, Model Contracts and Tenders”.
