Copiapó, April 21, 2021- Enel Green Power Chile has decided to terminate its contractual relationship with Tozzi Latam Spa early, after repeated breaches in the execution of the construction of the Campos del Sol photovoltaic plant (382 MW) located in the Atacama Region.
Although the plant's construction schedule has been modified due to external factors such as the Covid-19 pandemic, the program has been particularly affected by Tozzi's breaches in the execution of the contract, which also affected the project's contractors and suppliers.
Enel Green Power Chile will continue and complete works on the Campos del Sol project and aim to get the new contractors to hire as many of the workers and companies that provided services to Tozzi, as possible.
