Santiago, June 7, 2023 - The FTSE4Good Index Series includes Enel Chile again, an index ranking the world's best companies in environmental, social, governance (ESG), and transparency practices. The Company's commitment to sustainability is present throughout its value chain, which is recognized by this prestigious ranking, consolidating Enel Chile leadership in these matters, and validating its business strategy and partnerships.

Enel Chile stands above the industry average in environmental, social, and corporate governance factors in this new mid-year selection.

FTSE4Good praised Enel Chile’s commitment to integrating ESG practices into its business strategy throughout its value chain. The rating agency highlighted Enel Americas' practices and transparency on various issues, including resource and water management, climate change, human rights, risk management, and anti-corruption practices.

The Enel Group's global leadership in this area is also present in other prestigious sustainability indexes and rankings, such as the DJSI World and Europe, the MSCI ESG Leaders indexes, the CDP Climate "A" list, the STOXX Global ESG Leaders index, the ISS "Prime" ranking, the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index, the Refinitiv TOP 100 Diversity and Inclusion Index, Equileap's Top 100 Gender Equality world ranking and the ECPI indexes.

The Group is increasingly attracting the attention of Socially Responsible Investors, whose stake in the Company is steadily growing, representing around 14.9% of Enel's share capital by the end of 2022, more than doubling compared to 2014.
