Grupo Enel en Chile firma acuerdo por nuevo edificio corporativo

Santiago, February 3, 2023. Enel Chile and Territoria Apoquindo S.A. reached a commercial agreement allowing the country's leading electricity holding company and all its subsidiaries and related companies to leave the historic Santa Rosa building. The business will move its corporate headquarters to tower 2 of the MUT complex (Tobalaba Urban Market) located at Roger de Flor N°2725, Las Condes. The move will take place during the first half of 2024.

New facilities will provide Enel's workers in Chile with first-class spaces with state-of-the-art technology. The latter include LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) and WELL (for the well-being of people) certifications, thus improving workspaces and personnel quality of life.

The new property is more in line with the current needs of Enel, which has adopted a hybrid work model, from the pandemic, with a flexible and efficient requirement in terms of workspaces.

The new headquarters are in a place with excellent connectivity, inserted in a project that provides its users with multiple quality services, such as banks, commerce, cultural spaces, and the availability of outdoor workplaces, among others.

In line with Enel's values, the new building also assigns an essential role to the commitment to sustainability and electrification. Among other things, it has a system that uses groundwater to heat the building complex, irrigation of green areas with rainwater and gray water, and 100% clean energy. The infrastructure also includes a biodigester for organic waste, transforming it into biogas for the complex, fertilizer for the gardens, and a parking lot with electric chargers.

This significant change will allow us to have a building with state-of-the-art technology, which will undoubtedly contribute to Enel's sustainable development.
