Santiago, February 28, 2022. Enel Chile's Board of Directors informed that the Company's current CEO, Paolo Pallotti, will leave on March 1 to assume new duties within the Enel Group after more than three years on the position.

Paolo Pallotti took over as CEO of Enel Chile on October 1, 2018. Also, his contributions include integrating renewable energy structuring offers for customers, contributing directly to the fight against climate change, and developing renewable energy capacity. The latter was critical for a cleaner generation matrix that has positioned Enel Chile as a benchmark for climate change and ESG strategy in the local and international market.

The Chairman of Enel Chile's Board, Herman Chadwick, thanked Paolo Pallotti for his efforts. "I want to praise Paolo Pallotti's commitment during these years, his significant contribution to achieving the leading position we have today in Chile's energy transition, and his management during a time of emergency for the country and Company."

He added that "we hope that Fabrizio confidently assumes the work we are developing and continues advancing into new challenges."

The Board of Directors appointed Fabrizio Barderi as the new CEO of Enel Chile. Fabrizio Barderi was previously manager of Global Commercialization Planning and Control at Enel SpA and director of Enel Generación Chile.

Mr. Barderi is an electrical engineer from the University of Pisa with extensive experience in operations, strategic planning, and commercial negotiations in different sectors. He joined the Enel Group in 2001 and has held various positions in Europe and Latin America. Between October 2014 and July 2017, he was in charge of all energy management activities (sales, marketing, dispatch) related to the Group's generation assets in Latin America. From 2017 to date, he has been a member of Enel Generación Chile's Board of Directors.
