Santiago, January 9, 2024. One of the key objectives of the partnership between Arval and Enel X is to promote, strengthen, and accelerate the adoption of electromobility in Latin America. The two parties have signed an agreement to facilitate the implementation of electric charging solutions in homes and public stations for Arval customers in the region.
Luc Soriau, the regional manager of ARVAL in Latin America, expressed his satisfaction with the partnership between ARVAL and Enel X. This agreement will accelerate the companies' transition towards sustainable mobility, conscious and efficient energy consumption, and renewable energy sources. The partnership will provide innovative solutions that add value to their current and future customers.
The collaboration between the two companies is aligned with Arval's efforts to reduce CO2 emissions and contribute towards a more sustainable environment. This partnership will enable Arval to achieve its global target of having 350,000 electric cars by 2025. Moreover, this move is customer-centric and will allow Arval to provide comprehensive consultation and competitive pricing while maintaining strong governance to ensure excellent customer service.
"We strongly believe in the transformative power of technology, which can turn energy into new opportunities for growth and progress. It's extremely satisfying to advance on this path with the help of a strategic partner like Enel X," emphasized Luc Soriau.
Enel X is significantly increasing the number of electric stations and fast charging points in the region. These charging points will be integrated into an intelligent platform that makes supplying electric vehicles with energy easy and fast. The charging points will be part of a network of over 320,000 public and private chargers managed through interoperability agreements across the world.
Jean-Paul Zalaquett, the Latin American electric mobility manager at Enel, emphasized the company’s goal of leveraging integrated digital platforms to deliver innovative and flexible services that meet customers' evolving needs. The partnership with Arval aligns with this goal and enables Enel to fulfill its mission of bringing electromobility closer to everyone.
