As part of Enel Distribución Chile's community relations initiatives, on October 13, 15, and 16, through the Department of Community Development of the municipality of Lo Espejo, a series of online workshops were held addressing issues of interest to community and neighborhood organizations.
This online workshop cycle seeks to give continuity to different community initiatives that are part of Enel Distribución's Sustainability Plan. Workshops have a crucial role in meeting the Sustainable Development Objectives No. 7 goals, mainly improving energy efficiency levels in the area where we operate, and ODS No. 3, to strengthen knowledge and detect problems that affect people's health and quality of life.
"Energy Efficiency and Consumer Education" was the first topic to be addressed. This workshop aims to provide knowledge about efficient energy use, making participants aware of the effects and impacts that their consumption actions have on the environment. Similarly, it seeks to contribute to users' knowledge concerning energy consumption habits, promoting behavioral changes that will increase energy inclusion and increase the local community's sustainable development.
