Monica Hodor is a highly-qualified professional with over 32 years of experience in the energy, retail, and engineering sectors. She joined the Enel Group in 2011 and currently serves as Director of Engineering and Network Development at Enel Grids, the Group’s global business line dedicated to managing electricity distribution services worldwide.
Between 2021 and 2023, she was Director of Infrastructure and Networks at Enel Romania, managing energy distribution companies and ensuring customer-focused operations. Previously, from 2018 to 2020, she held the position of Director of Administration, Finance, and Control at Enel São Paulo (Brazil), and from 2015 to 2018, she was Director of Planning and Control at Enel Global Infrastructure & Networks, overseeing financial and operational control in multiple countries.
Before joining Enel, she was CEO and CFO of Praktiker Romania (Metro Group) for nine years and Head of Control and Administration at ENI Agip Romania for seven years.
Monica holds one master’s degree in Finance and Banking from the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies and another in Aerospace Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest. As of April 8, 2025, she is the CEO of Enel Distribución.
