Enel Generación is the leading generation company in the country, with a combined net installed capacity of 5,548 MW at year-end 2023, 63% of which corresponds to renewable energies and 37% to thermal power plants.
We own 24 power plants: 16 of which are hydroelectric (3,416 MW of net installed capacity); 6 thermal power plants that operate with gas or oil (2,050 MW of installed capacity); and two wind power plants (82 MW of installed capacity).
We continue to be a key player in the country's development and the most relevant energy generation company at the national level, supplying 42% of the energy sold to customers during 2023, and producing 29% of the total energy injected into the National Electric System (SEN), where 66% corresponds to renewable generation.
