Gaetano Guarnaccia studied at the University of Salerno, graduating with honors in Business Administration in 2005.
During his 19 years at Enel, Guarnaccia held various positions that provided him with extensive experience in administration, finance, and control.
After brief stints in academia and other sectors, he was hired by Enel in 2007 to work in the management control department of the trading division. In 2012, he became the head of management control for the wholesale and trading areas. Later, in 2016, he assumed the role of head of management control for the Energy Management Italy area. By 2021, he transitioned to the Global Power Generation division, taking on the Head of Planning & Reporting position, overseeing capital allocation activities and long-term planning for the Enel group's generation division.
Beginning in 2024, he relocated to Argentina, where he serves as the CFO of Enel in Argentina and is a board of directors’ member for various companies within the group.
