Monica Cataldo is an electrical engineer from the Polytechnic University of Bari. She excels in managing electrical networks across various global contexts, as well as in customer relations, human resources, and occupational health and safety.
She joined the Enel group in 2002, beginning with an internship in the Technical Assistance Department in Italy. Later, she became the Head of Programming and Management for the Bari Area in southern Italy. In 2008, she took on the role of Head of the Commercial Area for the Puglia and Basilicata networks. Four years later, she transitioned to Head of Network Development for the Tuscany and Umbria regions. Approximately three years after that, she became Head of the Distribution Network for the city of Venice and its province. She then relocated to Romania, where she served as Head of the Commercial Area for the three regions managed by Enel for three years.
Since June 2021, she has held the position of Head of Infrastructure & Networks at Enel Peru, and starting in January 2024, she will assume the role of Managing Director of Enel Grids Colombia.
