María Teresa Vial is a lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and holds a Master's Degree in Business Law and a Diploma in Construction, both from the Universidad de los Andes. She also has a Diploma in Negotiation from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
Currently, she is President of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce and member of the board of directors of E-Cert Chile and Resolución en Línea SpA. She is also member of the network of directors for climate action of Chapter Zero Chile.
