Luis Alberto Vergara holds a degree in Electronic Civil Engineering from Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María (Valparaíso, Chile) and an MBA from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (Santiago, Chile).
From 1996 to 2000, he worked for Enel Distribución Chile in the Department of Commercial Processes and Large Clients. Between 2001 and 2006, he worked for Enel Américas in the Department of Organization and Processes.
Between 2007 and 2012, he worked for Enel Américas as Manager of Organization and Planning of Human Resources at the regional level.
After that, and until 2016, he worked as Head of Generation, Energy Management and Organizational Development of Enel, and in April 2016 he became Human Resources Manager and since the end of 2019 he is Head of Operation and Maintenance Improvement Chile in the same company.
