The Enel Group has been committed to the UN 2030 Agenda since 2015, when it committed to directly contribute to achieving four of the 17 goals:  SDG 4- Quality Education, SDG  7- Clean and Affordable Energy,  SDG  8- Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG  13- Climate Action. In late 2018 it reinforced said commitment by adding SDG 9- Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure and SDG 11- Sustainable Cities and Communities.

The global challenges identified by the SDGs take on different forms and dimensions at the local level, so in addition to the guidance they can provide, it is essential to analyze the national, regional, and local socio-environmental context to design initiatives that generate the desired impacts and that respond to local needs and priorities.

The business strategy adopted by Enel and Enel Chile has led the Company to contribute concretely to the 17 goals of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) promoted by the United Nations.

The Enel Group and Enel Chile promote the achievement of the objectives, aligning their own strategy with the United Nations’ goals and measuring and managing their own direct contribution to achieve them.
