Claudio Arias has a degree in Civil Engineering from the Universidad de Chile and a Master's degree in Energy Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He has a Diploma in Leadership and Management of High-Performance Teams from the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.
He joined the Enel Group in 2011, to work in Engineering and Construction Management, particularly in the Hydraulics Division.
Since December 2015 Arias has worked in different positions in Generation Planning and Control, both in thermal and renewable technologies. He is currently responsible for the area of Industrial Generation Control of Conventional Technologies.
With more than 10 years of professional experience in the energy sector, Arias has a high focus on value creation, sustainable development, management of multidisciplinary teams and acknowledgement of the importance of the diversity of its members.
He has an executive leadership style, strategic business vision, ability to adapt to changing environments, and puts an emphasis on social responsibility and environmental protection.
